    Default [Forgot!] iPhone PIN Lock

I gave my iPhone to my 5 year old to play with. He ended up setting my PIN which is used to unlock the phone after a few hours. Is there anyway to recover it, or is restoring it the only way?

Edit: I set a passcode lock, not the SIM lock (I have already done that before!)

pin is compleatly sim card based, restoring wont help... mistype it 3 times intentionaly and then you can write PUK (10 digit) to get inside and change pin... search for pug on your provider papers 1st tho if you dont have puk you are pretty much screwed sorry :/

I did some research and it looks like it is impossible to get around it. Im in the process of restoring 1.1.1, oktoprep, and upgrading to 1.1.2 for the second time this week- soon I will be an expert on it! (The first was the corrupt installer).

I synced the phone prior to the passcode unlock so all my data is saved. O well!

4 digits and 10 possibilities per digit.

    5 sek / try * 10000 = 50000s = 833,33min = 13,88h

You can do it on a weekend.

How many hours when you only have 3 attempts?
