Great!! That was the missing step, to hold the home button when connecting it to Itunes.

I will now have to proceed with the unlock, but I cant do it here at work, so I need to wait till I get home.

Hi, I updated my itunes to the newest as well as the latest firmware. I downloaded the apptapp and ran it. It's been stuck on transferring files to my iphone for about 16 minutes now. The screen has said the "please connect to itunes" message the whole time then it just went black and shut off. I didn't do anything but run this apptapp per the instructions. Anyone know if this is normal for it to be taking this long and to just shut off?

is it possible this apptap is froze? How do I safely exit?

What i did was use the vista version posted weeks before. Restored my iphone with the new itunes.. jailbreaked with iNdependence, didn't activate it or anything

Hooked it up to windows and clicked CLICK HERE on the vista's pacay, it activated the iphone and activated youtube.

Connected it back to itunes, synced music, photos..no problems what so ever!

This apptap did NOT work for me. I have the latest itunes and the latest firmware. Still didn't work. Anyone in Chicago, able to unlock my iphone? I'll pay. Thanks

Edit: I believe its not working because I get all kinds of crazy errors. It keeps telling me I have no sim card installed then the computer beeps and says it is then it beeps and says it isn't. It makes the noise over and over again like i'm unplugging a usb device and replugging back in. It just keeps doing that. I'm skeered.

Just a quick question. I've noticed that there seems to be a seperate version of the PAYAC thing specifically for Vista. I'm not sure if the version included in the link on the first page is that Vista version (which also works on XP apparently), or just the XP version.

Should I go and find the Vista specific version and use that instead?

I have a brand new iphone still in the box, I want to use the sw to use it with Tmobile USA, when followed these step, do I keep the Att sim card in the phone and do all the activation or do I put in my Tmobile sim card for the activation?

In order to use your T-Mobile sim you will need to SIM unlock your phone. If you activate (using this software) with the AT&T sim in it will be quick and easy.

Once your phone is activated you would then need to sim unlock it by the hardware or software unlocks.
