Which Firware to use
Hi,I have a jailbroken 3g iphone, presently at version 4.0.1 with firmware at 5.13.04. Thinking of either upgrading or downgrading my firware as I am experceincing very slow response, have tried turning off spotlight a few other things to no avail. For those who have a 3g , what version should I go to, upgrade to 4.1 or downgrade to 3.13, which seems from what I ahve read to perform a little better. I am using a windows 7 machine so I would need to use redsn0w , I think, and ultrasn0n to unlock. I am not sure but I believe 3.13 supports cycorder, which I really loved. Any help for this rookie is greatly apprecaited.

I'd say go to 3.1.3 - set up the phone as new and you will find it is more stable and runs faster.
