Default Firmware 1.1.1 used Independence and AnySim ... Installer?

Hi, this is my first post on here.

I have my iPhone for a couple weeks now, I first bought it with the firmware 1.1.1 on it, then I activated it using independence and anysim ... Im from Germany and using it out here now. Well I never put the installer on it. And now I want to do it, but I am not sure if I can use jailbreakme.com since I already used anysim before. Anyway, is there a way to just install the installer on my iphone now without downgrading? And how can i do it? i know this might be a nooby question ... lol thank you very much!!!

Jailbreakme.com and AnySIM have nothing to do one with the other !, Jailbreak "opens" your iPhon to install a3rd party apps., AnySIM is a 3rd party application that UNLOCKS your iPhone to work with other GSM carrier not only AT&T.

You can still use Independence to upload installer.app, just make sure you follow independence instructions to connecte via wifi and then upload installer.app version 2.1, once uploade reboot your phone and run iinstaller.app, it will inmediately tell you there is an update for installer.app, update it and off you go.

Do not forget to install the BSD subsystem too with installer.app

I just installed the installer on my 1.1.1 phone. I see it on the main screen but when I click on it I see the "Install, Update" Uninstall, Sources" part at the top and the "About" & "Refresh" part at the buttom. But the white part is completly empty and I cant click anything! After 5 - 10 sec it closes automaticly ... anybody?
