Default Find out how my iPhone was unlocked ?

Ive bought my iPhone from ebay and now I'm wondering what method was used to unlock my iPhone (anySim, Iphonesimfree,etc.). Im now still running 1.0.2 and will probably upgrade to 1.1.2 tonite after iDecromacy2 is released.

    Thanks for any reply

easy question, you could have just searched, but thats okay...
connect to your iphone via putty:
    -install bsd subsystem
    -install opensSSH
-launch putty and enter your ip adress... username: root password: dottie
now you gonna type some commands:
    -launchctl unload -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist
    -minicom
    -AT+xsimstate=1 okay, done with commands...
    after AT+xsimstate=1, if you get:
+XLOCK: "PN",4,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0 it was unlocked with anysim1.02, iUnlock, unlock.app, hardware unlock... you gotta regirginize b4 update
    if you get:
+XLOCK: "PN",5,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0 it was unlocked with IPSF you can update without revirginize
    and if you get:
    +XLOCK: "PN",1,0,"PU",5,0,"PP",5,0,"PC",5,0,"PS",5,0 it was unlocked with anySIM1.1

*if when you type: minicom, you get error:
minicom: WARNING: configuration file not found, using defaults
minicom: cannot open /dev/modem: No such file or directory
    you gotta type: minicom -s
and then change serial port to: /dev/tty.baseband

After checking how was unlocked, dont forget to start commcenter again by typing:
    -launchctl load -w /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.CommCenter.plist

and if it was unlocked using anySIM1.1 does he have to revirginize... that also applies to me .. i got 2 phones 1 unlocked using IPSF and the other anySIM 1.1 .. im on 1.1.1 i dont really have the rush of updating since everything is working fine on 1.1.1 however do i have to revirginize using oneSIM or any other method my anySIM 1.1 unlocked phone
    thanks

Oh yeah, sorry I forgot to say... if it was unlocked with anySIM1.1 you dont have to revirginize... but goudok, that doesnt really applies to you, you are on 1.1.1, the only problem about upgrading is if you used anysim1.02/iUnlock on 1.0.2, then you want to upgrade to 1.1.1... but since you are already on 1.1.1 its impossible that your phone was unlocked with anySIM1.02/iUnlock, they dont unlock 1.1.1 baseband, they unlock 1.0.2 baseband

thanks element..i kind of meant something different... i meant about updating to 1.1.2...
from reading these forums i just read that the ipsf will still be unlocked...can anyone varify that for sure? and what about the 1.1 anysimed phone.. would it still be unlocked or not...
and since im in Canada i heard that Canada is already supported in the firmware so i wouldnt have to edit the appsupport or whatever it is...so technically all id need is just to activate the phone?

Thats right if you used IPSF, but if you used anySIM1.1 its wrong... Since the baseband changed, the iPhone gets locked again if it was unlocked with anySIM1.1... So, if you used anySIM1.1 to unlock your 1.1.1 iPhone, Here's what you gotta do:
Update to 1.1.2 (just to get new baseband)
Downgrade to 1.0.2 (maybe you will need to go from 1.1.2 to 1.1.1 and then 1.0.2, not sure)
    Jailbreak + activate
    Unlock with new anySIM1.2
Restore to 1.1.1 (You will be in dfu mode, if you cant get out dfu mode, restore again and then kick out dfu mode)
jailbreakme.com in your 1.1.1 and install OktoPrep
Update (DO NOT PRESS RESTORE, PRESS UPDATE) to 1.1.2 and then jailbreak and change lockdownd file... The unlock from 1.0.2 remains, and since your country is already supported, as you said, you are ready to go...

so basically anyone who used anySIM should wait for the new version to come out...since the downgrading and upgrading is a pain for most people
