Good job, guys, now Apple is contractually required to lock us out of iPhone development.

You just had to push the effing envelope, didn't ya?

Yeah, I know, really. I mean why did someone just have to do it? Why would you go ahead and code the one damn thing that you knew would fuck us all? Everyone is probably running around in circles, screaming "yay VoIP", blissfully unaware about the fact that we now have officially declared a war. Was VoIP that important that you needed to have it on your iPhone, despite the fact that now the other 99% of us who could give half a shit are now lumped together with you on the wrong side of Apple's anti-hacker regime?

Don't bother surprising me people, I know i'll probably get flamed up the asshole for desecrating the almighty VoIP. You guys evidently don't get the concept of cooperation. There was, at one point before this damned application was coded, a small, minuscule, but still existent, chance that Apple would keep the cat and mouse game where it belonged: in the minds of AT&T. They were more than capable of handling the balance BEFORE, but now, no way.

What the f**k is your problem? Your acting like you are the god of iphone laws. Like this app is going to be the end for 3th party applications. Nobody, not even you know what Apple or AT&T are going to do. They are free to do whatever they want. If you do not agree with the fact that someone is developing a SIP client. That's your personal problem. Live with it. And yes, there are alot of ppl interested in using such an app on the iphone. VOIP is growing each year. I have VOIP at home and it would be great to have the iphone also as a portable phone.

And if Apple did an upgrade that would stop other apps working, it will certainly will not be becaus of this app alone, but for security reasons that all apps could pose.

What is the reason to think that locking this application would be so important to Apple that they will make it hard to break? Trufone just doesn't care; Apple will be most likely busy with lots of things.

    funny thread.

Apple do not make money from phone calls, they make money from the contract.

"thecompkid", just don't update your phone ever and it will remain unlocked. OR sign up to AT&T. YOU have the choice.
