Hi everyone, totally new here. A few questions.

Can anyone give a rough time as to when the iphone will be unlocked, days, weeks, months?

and finally, once it has been unlocked, am I then able to use all the phone features, syning with itunes, calls, ipod, etc with my own sim card, or transfer my number to it? I could just wait for the release here in the UK, but as it's most likely going to be an O2 thing, I'm not really interested as I've been with Vodafone for years. Cheers chaps, and kudos to all the guys and gals working on the hacks, clever bastards

the quick answer to both your questions is no one knows. No one really knows how long it will take nor does anyone know what features will/wont work properly. I'm guessing visual voicemail won't work on any network other than the partners which actually have the iPhone.

Sometimes I'm surprised people managed to read enough to figure out how to sign up to join the forum and read the activation email. LOL. If they could, they'd post asking how to do that too.
