Hi,
I have the standard iPhone headphones, and there seems to be something wrong:

Sometimes while I'm just listening to music, my iPhone pauses, skips, or restarts songs...

I'm guessing something's wrong with my headphones because it only occurs with the iPhone Headphones (the ones with the mic/button). The mic seems to be broken as well.

I'm looking for a way to disabled the headphone button control.. no idea where to start looking though.

It's insanely annoying... can somebody help me?

I'm connected to my iPhone through ssh, there's got to be something, some preference file I can change to turn off the headphone controls... please

my headphone mic also went bad, and I could not pause or skip songs with it

Mine too......

so far i have never come accross an app that disables the button. mayb there is a plst that u can edit.

I would, except this is my 3rd pair! Apple Headphones have great audio quality, and fit great in my ears. That's why I kept buying them.. But they break so easily!
I will never buy Apple headphones ever again.

If only I could figure out how to disable the button!
