[Email] Ask for password if my iPhone and my computer connect at the same time
I am using multiple rogers (canada isp) email accounts which actually use yahoo servers im assuming since i can log in my @rogers.com email on the yahoo site. My problem is that my mail program on my mac and iphone both automactically check for email, and when they both check for email close to eachother, my mail program on my mac keeps asking for my password, even thought its already saved. Is there anyway of fixing this? it really annoying doing things every 30min or so!
thanks

I've got exactly the same problem, it is a security of Yahoo mail servers.
You should switch either Mail or MobileMail to manually check your email accounts.

hi there im sorry for having to trouble you by sending you an email i have search the forum endlessly for an answer but have yet to find one. I would post but cant seem to do that either (would appreciate it you would tell me how to post a problem for the public) ok so to the point i unlocked my 1.1.1 fw iphone and everything has been working fine till i noticed that i was not receiving any emails as of late so i tried to log on to my aol account ( everything is ok password and email) and a i get a "Cannot Get Mail"error. stating, No password provided for user "xxxx" on server "imap.aol.com". everything was working fine but now it seems as if its not saving the password. i would appreciate it if you could lend me a hand. thanks.
