edge working on t-mobil w/0 setting

i got 1.1.1 jainbroken unlocked for t-mob

ive tried one of those free internet for iphone tmob

didnt work for me so i stopped using it.

though while i was retrieving info on usage on my iphone

EDGE shows that im actually getting and sending some dats over the net.

its only about 78/35 for data sent/received.

how is it possble?

any idea and help would be appreciated

when i unlocked my phone and put in my sim card the blue e also showed up with no settings put in. I dont know. Go figure. My plan does have the $6 internet though.

The edge icon always shows regardless of subscription.

So you stopped using EDGE but did you cancel the t-zones/unlimited data plan?

Before I added the t-zones hack/data plan, the usage was "-" and as the others have said, the "E" is always there.
Did you happen to get the app "Services"? It'll turn off EDGE so you won't get charged if you don't have a data plan.

So everyone has a E? I have been trying to get this t-mobile EDGE thing working for 2 months with no luck. I have never had a E on my iphone. Is there any way to check to see if my edge has malfunctioned?
