If I unlock a phone with the 1.1.2 and jailbreak it without using a SIM card and turbosim

will I be able to get the EDGE network on my unlocked/jailbroken phone?
and If i can, what programs do I need to install (if any)


I tried searching for it but found no answers that were helpful.

You could get internet on the iphone, but you will not get EDGE speed on Uk o2 network. Not sure about the USA, or other countries

Well I live in the USA (California) and when I read other peoples posts and threads and even their signature, it says that their EDGE doesnt work

Can anyone in the US confirm this? Thanks
