Hi all :-)

Every time i reboot my iphone, i lost edge settings (so, i have to insert it again).

Is there a way to setting it permanent?

(maybe to do chmod 444 file of the settings).

Any idea?

This EDGE fix may present roaming problems, as it changes the UnknownCarrier.plist. If you roam, you may be in for a big surprise at the end of the month.....

I was told tmobile doesn't roam and I pay for the Internet will it still charge me if i have an internet plan

You need to call your provider and ask:

1) What happens if you are in an area that is not covered by them or even overseas

2) If roaming is supported, does it allow data roaming?

If yes, then I do not recommend changing UnknwonCarrier.plist. It has the EDGE settings as blanks exactly to avoid data roaming charges.

The iPhone has 2 modes: HOME NETWORK AND UNKNOWN NETWORK. It treats UNKNOWN AS ROAMING.

tmobile usa said they cover calls and data anywhere in the usa no roaming so this is ok?! it is really easy to install no hassel. tmobile said it was ok unless theres something im missing with the iphone that tells tmobile your out of the us the edge will work with no roaming. is there something with the iphone that will tell tmobile that your out of the usa?????????
