Ok, my own phone is working like a charm but my friend's not. Problem is edge settings. We both have same operator and I used same jailbreaking/unlocking method for both phones.

We both have EDGE settings under network (so it is not hidden). We both can type APN settings and mine is saving those. So edge works great. But my friend's phone won't save those settings. As soon as you go back to home screen or back to network menu everything you have typed dissappears.

So same operator, same unlocking method but only one is working.

I used SSH and edited UnknowCarrier.plist and com.apple.carrier.plist to manually type correct apn settings but still no solution. Phone just won't take any settings.

Any hints/solutions?

So EDGE menu is not hidden and we are not using any provided/official operators. I searched but most of the threads I found where treated problems using official iPhone operator sim-cards.

I'm having the same problem, I've searched and searched and found nothing.
