another edge question. i have a 1.1.2 iphone with tmobile service and x-sim. everything works except EDGE. i activated the total internet package and i tried both APN: wap.voicestream.com and internet2.voicestream.com and it does not work. it says "could not activate EDGE: you are not subscribed to EDGE"

can someone tell me or point me in the right direction?

try to call T-Mobile and make sure your service is activated on their side as well.

Also, if you installed "Services"try to switch Edge to ON.

Have you got the EDGE settings menu in "settings>general>network" ?

If yes, you need to enter the apn and username/password for your network.

If not, then go to "settings>phone>sim pin" and turn your sim pin off.

Go back to "settings>general>network>edge" and enter the settings for your carrier.

Oh, and next time use the search option on this forum as I wrote about this only last week !
