I never noticed there was supposed to be a EDGE setting in GENERAL -> NETWORK and is missing on my phone, however there is an E by the att logo. Any help?

you dont get the EDGE setting if you have your original att sim inside. you will get this using other sim.

Are you using an unlocked phone or is it a legitly activated AT&T phone on the AT&T network? If it's the latter then I don't think you'll see this option as it's already been configured for you out of the box.

ok, great! thanks for your help i was a little confused. i guess the EDGE setting menu using another sim card comes from the unlock.
