Dvd Jon's is for windows only

Anderson's is for mac only

people who had trouble restoring was because the used an patched itune to restore the iphone instead of one that was not patched for windows.

IF YOU WANT TO RESTORE use orignal itunes not a hacked one!!!!
This way you will not have problems.

I have both, Mac and PC.
So there is the same, no recommended one?

same chose whatever you like they both do they same exact job, unlock the phone.

Another question...
Do you have to take sim out when doing the process,
waht happens if other carrier sim is inside?
