I hear from people that their iphone got really really slow after installing apps (I think mainly summerboard?) What are your experiences? I'm not too keen on installing apps because of this.

Also, anyone know how to change root password and turn on/off for openSSH?

the iPhone slows down yes but not to the point that it becomes annoying, its still fast and the apps are cool, i could not live without my NES app now, pure class for games like super mario brothers 3 and stuff

Even apps that dont change the home screens would slow the iphone down? I dont understand why. For example, if I install mobileterminal and will not run it, will it slow it down?
