I had a go using the latest SDK beta iPhone simulator.
Videos from YouTube hosted on other sites (but not on youtube oddly) are now grey windows with the youtube logo and a little blue play button, like if you have a quicktime/audio file to play.
Except every site I tired gave me an "unsupported URL" message telling me for example that "This URL wasn't loaded: youtube:sZRIR6tz4v8" the number obviously being the video ident.
iPhone US 8GB
FW 1.0.2--> iUnlock--> iPhoneSIMfree--> 1.1.1 --> 1.1.2--> Soft upgrade 1.1.3 --> 1.1.4 using signal.app
iPhone UK 16GB
FW 1.1.3 OOB --> 1.1.4 --> iPlus 1.2 unlocked!

Thanks for the update, Spinstorm. It seems like there will probably be a way to play YouTube videos in MobileSafari (other than on the youtube.com site - that is rather odd). Or maybe it will download the video and convert it to QuickTime, as is done with iPodVideoHamster (see here: http://hackint0sh.org/forum/showthre...ighlight=flash ). It does not seem like this will help with other Flash files, but it is some sort of progress nonetheless.
