    Default "different sim detected, please connect to itunes" HELP

    Hi, I did the jailbreak on my att activated phone via www.jailbreakme.com and then downloaded the anysim and completed the unlock...when i instert the tmobile sim this message appears..any help???

    You are meant to swap sims before running anysim. It clearly states this.

    Not necessary to swap sim prior!!
    I ran anysim 1.1 on my jailbroken 1.1.1 phone and used a friends
    t-mo sim and I got t-mobile to show and get a signal

    Because the phone was activated with a att sim it has the att lockdown files
    you need the factory activated lockdown files run carnaval it should fix it

    Im running on a mac by the way, so I would use terminal..Where can I get the factory activated lockdown files?? and what are the steps?? Im sort on a noob..

    you could try to restore your phone in itune by option+restore and then use the jailbreakme.com to activate and jailbreak it
    iPhone (1.0.2>1.1.1>1.1.2) 8 GB - Turbosim (o2 UK)
    iTunes 7.5 (Mac)
    Call In/Out - Yes/Yes
    SMS In/Out - Yes/Yes
    EDGE - Yes
    YouTube - Yes
