[Dictionary] Virtual keyboard

Did someone found framework for virtual keyboard? I really would like take closer look on dictionary, which they use, if it's somehow possible to modify/replace it.

the dictionary learns new words though, or it seems to in my experience. im not entirely sure of the requirements to get a word added but i do know that after i searched for a location in maps that it was then available to me. Im 99.9% sure that it does learn new words.

I believe that apple said that if you use a mis-spelled word twice then it gets added to your dictionary. I think they also said by doing a restore, it will replace your dictionary with the one it came with. Also I could almost bet money that apple uses a database to store dictionary entrys just like it does for some of your personal info.

joe: no, i tried even ten times, and it's not working. What i'm looking for is NOT user's dictionary, but MAIN, BIG Apple's dictionary, which i would like or erese or modify! So please, does SOMEONE is able to help me and show me the path, where main iPhone's dictionary is?

actually if you go to /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/ you will find several .dat files such as english-stems.dat, I am guessing this is your database for spelling especially considering the fact that it is in the same directory as the keyboard layouts are. Hope this helps.

Any new development in this area?

I am from Denmark, and would love to do a (good) Danish dictionary. It happens to be something I do, both for fun an profit, so if the format and the file locations are known, I'll get on with it...
