Is there a limit on the wordcount? this file has more than 70k terms

Here is the set I created:

If you type a new word for the second time it is added to your dictionary. So if you use them frequently they are added by themselves.

Yes, but be sure to make a back-up of the original files...just in case...
You have to restart the iphone to changes take effect.

Are there any noobie-friendly way to edit the dicts?

There hasnt been much on this thread as of late.

But I am wanting to add the Spanish dictionary for autocorrection because when typing in Spanish the English dictionary is killing me.

Do I just download the dictionary and where exactly do I instal it to? Any help would be useful. Thank you

erdeek, just add Dev-iphone repository as a source in Installer (deviphone.t35.com). Then install a pack called deviphone-ES.

It will translate your iPhone, change your default keyboard language to Spanish and add Spanish dictionaries.

However, I don't like this dictionary too much, because it doesn't recognize verb forms, plurals... If you're interested, I'll post an alternate dictionary I made from different sources that behaves much better.

Props to Dev-iPhone for their effort and translation, however.
