    Please help me, my Windows PC will not detect my iPhone in DFU mode. What do I do?

    i've been looking through pages of information and nothing's working. if you have any personal experience and or can find a link to a solution that'd be great, i'm sorry for this post mistake also.

    have you tried on another system? are you sure your phone is in DFU mode?

    i think i'm doing it right, if not how exactly do you get it in DFU mode?

    you try turing it all the way off and plugging it it while holding home so that you get the cd and cable screen or you try just having the phone in with no other USB devices connected...

    a screen with a cd and cable indicates trying to use a restore mode. dfu mode shows nothing on the screen, and that's what i'm trying to do because restore mode will not be picked up by my computer at all.

    i'm using a laptop and currently there are no other usb devices connected.

    Wow and iTunes wont see it even in normal mode odd, you sure your USB port is clean and everything
