Default Device not made for iphone > any way to stop the message ?

would it be posible to disable this message, or to edit the "made for iphone"list (.plist maybe ?) so that when we plug "x" device (icombi a2dp dongle in my case, the original one, not the new one ), it just works without asking us if we want to go into airplane mode ?

    thx in advance.

yeah i would love to hack this

i use ipod video docks which are great if you have a shell or skin on your iphone. because the moment u have a leather case or something on it, it sjust wont dock on the original iphone dock.
but if u use an ipod video dock, you can dock it and keep your hard shell case or other things of that nature on it.

but the problem is it nags u saying this device is not made for iphone, yet it charges and works perfect.

i would love to hack the message and disable the stupid airplane mode thing all together.
i can't memba a single instance when i had to use airplane mode.

it would be nice if one could turn that feature off so when i do dock it it just bypasses the ariplane mode msg.

    I third this.

I have a JBL dock, and it puts up the dumb message, even though it all works fine.

I remember using Airplane Mode a few times. On an airplane.

The message annoys me too (using Kensington LiquidAux in the car). Would be great to get rid of it.

Installing Cydia programs on a phone that has no internet connection: read this.

Editing binary .plist, .strings, .nib and .xib files:
    * on your computer: Windows tool / conversion website.
    * on your iPhone: convert those files in a terminal with plutil (installed with Erica Utilities) or edit them with iFile (Cydia links).

Here's a solution (but I wonder what it will mean for the battery: it will run a script every minute): http://forums.macrumors.com/showthre...68#post6359368
