    That's actually wrong. The commands will work on your computer, but you certainly don't want to run install.sh on your computer. You should be running install.sh on your iPhone.

    This is what glen.tw from a post on the unlocking section:

    for those that have the 1.1.3 restore file on their system do this:

    For people who has downloaded 1.1.3 firmware in your pc. Here are two steps to speed up your jailbreak process.

    Step 1:
    Use a text editor to open install.sh and replace line 18 to line 24 by
    # if [ "$PLATFORM" = "iPod" ]
    # then
    # RESTORE_IPSW="http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPod/SBML/osx/061-4060.20080115.9Iuh5/iPod1,1_1.1.3_4A93_Restore.ipsw"
    # else
    # RESTORE_IPSW="http://appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net/content.info.apple.com/iPhone/061-4061.20080115.4Fvn7/iPhone1,1_1.1.3_4A93_Restore.ipsw"
    # fi
    # wget "$RESTORE_IPSW" -O /private/var/restore.zip

    This is basically to skip downloading 1.1.3 firmware.

    Step 2:
    Rename iPhone1,1_1.1.3_4A93_Restore.ipsw to restore.zip in your pc and upload this file to /private/var/ on you iphone.
    If you found a friend, you found a treasure.

    If you try the jailbreak through mobile terminal and your phone becomes ENTIRELY FROZEN, just hold Power + Home ONLY UNTIL THE APPLE SYMBOL SHOWS UP. Then wait for it to boot. When it boots, you will have an activated and jailbroken 1.1.3 04.02.13_G phone.

    I can confirm this jailbreak works, but locate DOES NOT work for me. Thats a huge disappointment alone. I think im downgrading back to 1.1.2. Someone else please try it and post your result.

    ******BTW. to Sbrocket, I ran the command while i was ssh'ed into my iphone. It went fine, BUT... The installation seems to hang A LOT. i noticed that it hangs after the firmware has been downloaded and after the part it says keyDerivationAlgorithm and all that. Also it hangs after decompressing and at the end it gave me this:

    Archive successfully decompressed as /private/var/disk0s1.dd
    mount_hfs: Resource busy

    chown: cannot access `/private/tmp/MediaCache': No such file or directory
    mkdir: /private/var/logs/Baseband: File exists

    After that last line, I gave it 2-3 minutes and my iPhone just restarted into 1.1.3.

    My opinion is that the dev team 1) could have made a cleaner installation. 2) fixed the locate function (at least for me, im on Rogers in canada.)
    Thumbs up if i helped.
