I had the same problem at first. Then I re-read the instructions at the iphone.unlock.no website. Be sure to install the /usr/libexec/lockdownd on your phone (that lockdownd file is part of the download you can get at the iphone.unlock.no site).

After installing that lockdownd, I restarted my phone and everything was working-- no "incorrect sim connect to itunes to reactivate" message. I can make/receive calls on tmobile. EDGE works too.

Just wanted to report my experience with iUnlock while I wait for it to work here:

    - this is not for mass consumption yet! if you don't mind digging into technical details, then read on..
    - the .fls file is your modem's firmware. you get it out of the ramdisk dmg file in the firmware files for your phone. for the 1.02 firmware, this is the 009-7698-4.dmg file.
    - to be able to mount the firmware file, use: dd if=009-7698-4.dmg of=ramdisk.dmg bs=512 skip=4 conv=sync
    - now you can mount ramdisk.dmg and get the .fls file from /usr/local/standalone/firmware/
    - the NOR file is the file you obtain using NORDumper: http://iphone.fiveforty.net/wiki/index.php/NORDumper
    - put those two files on your phone using SCP, SSH to your phone, and run iUnlocker with them
    - wait a very long time...

ugh, mine just stopped at 70% and gave the message: "Ooops, something was wrong while Writing". Time to start over again...
