Hello. I am new to the forum so go easy on me been non-technical.

I followed the excellent guide found towards the top of this page and activated, unlock and jailbroke my iPhone using iLiberty. This was all straight forward and its working a treat.

The only feature that is not working is Cydia. I have no .apps/packages to be found anywhere and it says at the top of the screen that it has never been updated. I have search and search and can not figure out how to update Cydia .

In the short term I installed Installer which is working fine but again I dont think that is updating.

How often do updates take place as I only got the unit on Tuesday so perhaps I have to just wait.

Any help is appreciated.

My installer is update roughly every 24 hours. So, each day I open installer it checks sources and updates. Cydia, I have not idea and decided not to install when I iLibertied my phones.
