About LinkBacksI just phoned up 02 to go to a sim only contract as my years term was up and the 3g iphone is not out to upgrade to (lol).
The customer services guy said at the moment the package is like £5 for 4mb.
However at the end of this month they are adding a 200mb data deal for £7-£7.99 in preparation for the iphone.

The Customer service don't know jack about anything. It is true. So him/her telling you "preparing for the iPhone" is utter rubbish.
