Hi,

I recentally downloaded the SimFree.app and sent it to my phone using SSH,

I Jail breaked using Ibrickr and activated using The Youtube 1 click .bat

i have installed other apps but i come into the same problem, they show on the springboard but when run they just bring up a black screen.

after 20seconds returns me to the main screen

If anyone knows of a solution? or something i have missed then please let me know.

Not to worry - you guys just need to set the permissions on the installer.app files correctly. In SCP (or whatever tool you're using), just make sure every file inside the directory has its permissions set to "execute" (shown as an X in SCP).

Once that's sorted, it'll run just fine!

I'm writing from my memory, so forgive me if I'm not exact. Basically, you have to change properties of every executable file in the Sim Free.app directory. You have to right-click on each file, choose properties and than either tick every X box or just write in the numerical field 0755.

going to try this when i get home, also do i have to set pemissions to each file before i copy to the phone in ssh or after the .app directory is on the phone?,
