    Default Cracked Screen

I dropped my iphone the other day and theres a bit of a crack towards the bottom--luckily not over the screen itself. Does anyone know of a good case to insure my iphone from future falls?

If you are in the US you can actually try to return it and get a new one. I have read a lot of posts over at macrumors that people got theirs replaced for free. A phone is expected to be dropped hence it shouldn't be easy to have its screen cracked. And that is why Apple might replace it for you.

    Unhappy

Mine has the same issue, but what with 1.1.1 I'll be damned if I get a "replacement" phone from Apple.

I'm keeping mine at 1.02 until Cupertino gets some sense blown into them. Feh!

I was looking forward to the next rev iPhone, but if it's released and still locked down I'm heading over to either an N95 or the GooglePhone (assuming it's as good as the hype I've heard). It kills me to say it, but Apple's burned one too many bridges, and I've been caught by a few of them since the mid 1980s.

go and buy a new 8gb phone. The insurance dont cover cracked screens. They will charge you $250 for the replacement and $29 for the rented phone. You must return the rented one 5 days after you receive yours. The only way the warranty covers the phone is if the phone stop working completely when the screen cracked. It already happened to me. Also they never replace the glass, you will actually receive a a different refurbished phone via mail.
