    the easiest way I found was to convert my .mp3's to AAC. Once that happened iTunes sngged the artwork for all the songs that it had information for (which was a surprising amount, even Beatles albums that aren't for sale).

    The long part about that is of course the conversion process of 1000's of songs, but let it sit for a night and that should be taken care of.

    MP3TAG supports aac files AND supports the way iTunes sorts files. In the latest v2.39 BETA - the following has been added:

    - NEW: support for iTunes SHOW field at MP4.
    - NEW: support for iTunes sorting fields at ID3v2.2, ID3v2.3, and ID3v2.4 (ALBUMSORTORDER, BANDSORTORDER, COMPOSERSORTORDER, PERFORMERSORTORDER, and TITLESORTORDER).
    - NEW: support for iTunes sorting fields at MP4 (ALBUMSORTORDER, BANDSORTORDER, COMPOSERSORTORDER, PERFORMERSORTORDER, SHOWSORTORDER, and TITLESORTORDER).

    MP3TAG can do multiple albums at once - like when editing ID3 tag fields etc. You can't do cover art at once because each image is specific to a particular album - but really is 2 seconds really too much time?

    If you havent used MP3TAG - grab it first and play around. The support forum over on the official site has a wealth of useful info and helpful members. I really feel this program would help out a lot of you people. Its certainly helped me organise my 800+GB music collection.

    Sorry, but iTunes can do that already. Select the tracks from the same album then hit command+info and drag the album art to the album art area. Click ok and the album art will be applied to all selected tracks.

    @bezman

    You are missing something! Simply open the folder where the album is stored. The audio files all list in the main right hand window. Highlight them all and in the left hand window there is a box - drag a cover image to that. Once done, click the save button below FILE. Simple!

    I wasnt aware that iTunes let you do multiple files as I have only just used it since getting the iphone. My assumption on the fact that it didnt do multiple files is based on the comment made by Jjcool who made it sound like it had to be done one at a time.

    Hey, if iTunes works for people - stick with it. I am only suggesting MP3TAG as an alternative to people who have problems with iTunes. Every single album currently on my iPhone was tagged and the album cover was added by MP3TAG and my coverflow works fine.

    Videos in iPod don't need artwork. I can't see my videos in cover flow view. How can I change the view to cover flow ? It was supposed to flip the iPhone 90 degrees and it should change to cover flow but it is not happening with my videos. I haven't installed any music and even if I have I don't have artwork to add to them. I only have some videos in my video section in iPod and want to see them in cover flow view?
