    Default "Could not activiate EDGE"

    Hi I just unlock my iphone with iberty+ yetsterday and it's been working great. I have a quick question though . How come "Could not activate edge"" comes up every now and then when i try to check my yahoo mail. Is there anyway I could turn that option off?

    install bossprefs from installer and turn edge off.

    I'm having trouble getting my school email account to work. My yahoo email account works fine . Can some one verify if my setup is right

    IMAP Account info
    Name : My name
    Address : xxxxx@tribe.ulm.edu
    description:xxxxx@tribe.ulm.edu

    Incoming mail server
    Host name: mail.ulm.edu
    User name: xxxxx
    password: my password

    Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
    Host name :smtp.ulm.edu
    User name : xxxxx
    password : my pass word

    those " xxxxx" are all the same

    What am I doing right ? When i try to access mail through the mail icon, it says " the connection to the server "mail.ulm.edu" failed

    It depends, some schools or colleges use Exchange server emails, others use POP3 or IMAP. Just go to your school's IT department or the administrator for e-mail at your school and ask them for the correct information to punch in. I'm sure the will help.
