Costumize app screwed springboard

Hi, I have an 1.1.1 Iphone. It's activated using independence and unlocked using anysim. I did this on a friend's mac. I have windows xp. My problem is that I installed costumize app through installer.app and I was fooling around with it, I didn't liked it so it decided to uninstall it. I restored all the settings like it was, and uninstalled it. But my surprise was that ALL of the icons are gone!! I have only a wallpaper and I can't do anything!! I can still receive calls, but that's it.

I read that instaling dock could solve this problem, but I don't know where to download dock to install it through winscp.

What happens if I restore it through itunes, would I have to activate it and unlock it again? Or would I mess up my iPhone if I did this?

Please help me, I don't know what to do.

Did you unlock under 1.1.1 or did you downgrade to 1.0.2 then unlock? You may want to restore to the version you are currently running.

I bought the iPhone with 1.1.1, I downgraded to 1.0.2 using independence, and then upgrade again to 1.1.1 to activate it.

Then unlocking part I did it when it was upgraded with 1.1.1.

If I restore, would I have to activate it and unlock it again?

Can I restore through iTunes, only clicking restore. It says, "are you sure you want to restore iphone to its factory settings? All of your songs and other data will be erased."

Can I do this, and still have an activated and unlocked iphone? I don't mind losing music and data.

I should have done this but it was too late. I finally ended doing a restore, and I reactivate it and unlock it using the same process I used the first time. Works perfectly fine now, I'llnever touch Costumize again. Thanks all anyways.

Yes, stay away from custom apps. I have not loaded any 3rd party apps other than those required for unlocking. There are people swearing by those 3rd party apps, but you know what, I've heard too much about those apps misbehaving. I for one never like to pimp anything and I don't intend to pimp my iPhone with 3rd party apps. I just want to unlock it and use it the way it was intended for.
