Forgive me if this has been mentioned before but i cannot find this.

In 1.0.2 under contacts all my contacts were put under an A-Z index file/graphic.

Now im on 1.1.2 I simply have a list of contacts - not too important but I preferred the wat it looked in 1.0.2 (like a virtual phone book directory)

Anybody know if its just my phone or how to restore>>


PS - the lists in the iPOD have this feature in 1.1.2 - seems they removed it from contacts - strange!!

I have just updated my iPhone to 1.1.2 unlocked, contacts AZ index is fine and same as older firmwares.

What I mean is that the A-Z markers have gone.

Ive upgraded three phones and all of them are missing????? Maybe I need to add more contacts??

Is that your contact list too short?

I entered in some more contacts and the AZ index appeared!! It appears that I did not have a wide range of AZ contacts, I guess you need to have a wide range alphabetically
