Considering unlocking an iPhone for myself...
Well I know if I buy an iPhone from Apple and try to unlock it, the warranty will void.
Is it worth it? What happens if a month from now the iPhone has internal problems?
Will I have wasted my money?

the way I look at it people are already arguing about the legality of the Locked phone issue so eventually there should be a realse of firmware that is unlocked and since you can downgrade it back to 1.0.2 and it locks your phone to make it like new again and then you could just put the new firmware that will eventualy have to be unlocked anyways. so apple would not be able to tell that you had it unlocked so I guess that process the I just explained... which is not true yet but I can see will be would put your warrenty back in place.... thats just my two cents.....
hears an artical about the legality of the issue.
