- All features you mentioned (after unlock) arent lock or unlock related. iPhone is a global product. Make sense that when you call voicemail, you didnt get an error message. It's much more easy to localize it on future markets. Same thing for the Carriers menu option.

Those are not evidences of a possible unlock from Apple. In my opinion, there is only one way to get an unlock from Apple: if they are forced by law.

wasn't my post, and i'm not saying it's going to happen - however as a theoretical argument it's not a bad one.
