CommCenter patch for iOS5

Here is the CommCenter patch for iOS 5:

CommCenterClassic (iPhone 3GS/4 and iPad/iPad2 - Infineon baseband):
@8F910 (file offset @8E910) 0x3046-> 0x0120

CommCenter (iPhone 4S -0 QualComm baseband):
@A2AA8 (file offset A1AA8) 0x3046-> 0x0120

In theory it patches all signatures checks, so it should be ok for CMDA hacks too. But I do not have a CDMA phone or service (no local CDMA carriers), so no way to test or be sure (I do not even know how the CDMA setup is done).

If you are in a hurry and knows your way around, patch it and do not forget to use "ldid -s" and "chmod +x" (755).

I will soon make a Cydia package with both patches.

Lookin' for that cydia package bro. For many of us, the upgrade to iOS 5 depends on this patch!

I can't seem to find the location of the file on IOS 5.

It was located here...But no longer.
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/

Okay, you have the same byte offset as me for my patch, but the problem i'm running into is that I can not get it to work. It causes my iPhone4CDMA not to boot and hang at the Apple Logo, or Pineapple Logo if jailbreaking..
Steps i've taken.

Uploaded Patched CommCenter to
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support
ldid -s /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/CommCenter
chmod +x /System/Library/Frameworks/CoreTelephony.framework/Support/CommCenter

Checked permissions were 755, rebooted. Phone hangs now. Something i'm missing ? I swear i never had this issue before with 4.2.6-10

do u just look for the hex 0x3046 and set it to 0x0120? i have not done this in a longgggggg time iOS2? haha can you show me how to patch commcenter in iOS 4 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 idk if you have your own repo but ill host ur debs too im the developer of i4MMS if uve heard of it

If you look for 3046 you'll find too many of them. Look for seckeyrawverify to locate the subroutine of interest and then look for the right MOV which turns the flag ON. If you hesitate to pick one of the MOV, try one by one, not many, you can count them on your fingers.
