    Default At+clck="pn",0,"00000000" Error

everything seemed to check out fine up till this point.

but for some reason i cseem to always end up with an error when i go to minicom to enter this command line.

    for AT+CLCK="PN",2

    i get the return

    +CLCK: 1

i guess this means my phone is still sim locked. any ideas where i may have screwed up?

try it all out again... i read that if you screw up in the middle there isnt any error, you only see in the end that it didnt work out...

Run that last two commands again, and make sure you type them exactly right, i had that problem before as well, and was able to return a 0 without redoing the whole thing.

What did you "type wrong" before? Those are zeros in the "00000000" right?

I tried everything. I've done the "whole process" 6 times now. yes, 6. And this includes multiple "guides" - this one here, the original geohotz and the one on steve-jobs.com

I know I'm doing everything right. I've used my own dump and done the whole hex thing--didn't work.

Then, used the "pre-made" packages, like those listed here. Still doesn't work.

I get through alll the steps. But still returns a 1 and not a 0 at the AT+CLCK stage.

The only thing I can think that made a difference is that I upgraded to 1.0.2 only in the last week. (As in, I downloaded it very recently).

Could I have a different 1.0.2? I am doubtful but I am out of explanations now

Ive just done another yesterday with a fresh 1.0.2 you sure your typing AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000" in cap's theres a lot of lower case sensitivity in this kinda thing.
the last command is a sure fire way to unlock it if the process does not.

I have the same problem. Done it 7 times now with this phone. Opened a new phone and worked the first time.

I still want to unlock the first phone. I know I made a mistake with the nor file the first time I patched it. Those mistakes might still be sticking somewhere in the NOR. Not sure how to get it back to defaults. A restore does not seem to work.

Err, you keep switching case on your commands..

You say the "pn" does not work, but "PN" does...

    Case matters...

    ok do the following:

After your done with everything and you think everything worked fine.
Go to the minicom and type the following

    I'd prefer all case sensitive.

    AT S7=45 S0=0 L1 V1 X4 &c1 E1 Q0
    Should get :Ok
    AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000"
    Should get : OK
    AT+CLCK="PN",2
    Should get: +CLCK: 0

and if you think iunlocker finished without any error. this will work just fine.

if you dont get +CLCK: 0
do the following again after few secs
    AT+CLCK="PN",0,"00000000"
    Should get : OK
    AT+CLCK="PN",2
    Should get: +CLCK: 0

Well, I did file compares to both NOR and secpack, same as those provided in the zip downloads.........sigh =P

Is there a way to reset it to complete "factory default" of the rom files? I've done restores/reflashes and well............still at same situation. Dunno what's going on!

Tried what you suggested. No joy. However, just a FYI, the AT S7 S0 etc. commands are regular old "modem" commands such as setting echo, delay, etc. Has no effect. I use all caps.

Yup. I don't get it. Maybe I screwed up the first time I tried it? I don't think I did. But the first time i made my own nor/secpack. All subsequent I used premade ones that everyone is having success with. No luck.

I just really ...... miss using my iPhone. But i'm stuck in Asia........*sniff*. If someone could help i'd give ya $50 via paypal =P
