    if I unlock my phone with a simcar for the operator X can i put the sim card of operator Y and use the phone?

    If you use anySIM or IPSF, yes, you will be able to swap sim cards.

    nope not harmful if u use the anySIM 1.1

    The unlock is not an unlock for a specific carrier. It's to unlock all carriers. That's the point of unlocking.

    Sorry but I did'nt get the point...So if I unlock my virgin 1.1.1 phone with thr easiest way that discussed in forum can I use any sim that I want??

    To answer your first Post.

    If you're Iphone is unlocked.

    1. Yes it will work with any carriers/operator without problems
    2. AnySim is just a software with commands that is used to "unlock" the iphone, its not harmful to the device.

    8Gb iPhone (with GeoHot's Gunlock!!!)
    Carrier: Fido (Canada)
    Calls In/Out: Yes
    SMS In/Out: Yes
    Brick/Paperweight: No/No
    Youtube: Yes
    Weather: Yes
    Stocks: Yes
    Safari: Yes
    Maps: Yes
    Edge/GPRS: Not Yet (Too pricey and not worth it)
