that's true, gonads. I cannot exclude smman's suggestion but, on the surface, it's just too complicated...

If you think about, this would be the only 100% secure and transparent solution.
The only negative aspect I find is about guarantee. But I see no other problems.
We are seeing that all other methods (at now) are more complicated. Here I see 2 problems to handle:
    1) find processors
    2) have a technician that can do this operation (in a service center maybe)

    What do you think about?
We can make a van, like "hot dog sellers" and cross the whole Europe:

    IPHONE UNLOCKING SERVICE... ehhehe

Please feed this thread, I still think it will be the only solution working.

PS. IS THERE ANYONE WHO IS ABLE TO BUILD A LIST OF TELEPHONES USING THE INFINEON GOLD PROCESSOR?
My iPhone is ready to be used as TEST for this operation.

    Hello,

I'm new registred user but i follow a few topic for a couple of weeks now.
hopely i can get a phone with the sgold 2 based processor.
I run a little "company" in the Netherlands (www.simlock-service.nl) based on to unlock phones. I can desolder sgold2 processor from a phone but solder that's the question. I will find a phone to test on it. But i don't have yet a iphone

Maybe i get one or 2 wednesday this week.

I think when we desolder the processor from the iphone solder that in a other phone unlock that one and resolder that one in the iphone...?

    greets, Maikel
