Change a icon for a CFW
Hi guys,
I try to change an icon and a string in the firmware.
I get it on a real Iphone, but I want this for an Custom Firmware.
So my question:
Is it possible to save a Firmware on a real Iphone back to a custom firmware? (Like making an image)
Or my other idea:
Is it possible to change the string / image in an *.IPSW-file and then upload it to the real iphone?
(So, can I change the data in the file itself?)

You can change it in the IPSW itself.. or you can make a bspatch that makes the changes and then tweak pwnagetool's bundles so that they automatically apply that patch each time you make a custom ipsw.
