Question ***Carrier settings for MMS on 2g***

Ive got a 2g on 3.1.2 & used "Native MMS iPhone 2G" app from cydia to enable the mms (as described here) Enable MMS on iPhone 2G 3.1.2 Firmware | Redmond Pie
I now have the camera button under my messages but am unable to change my carrier settings under Cellular Data Network..... Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data Network!!! It doesnt show up, is there a way to make it visible in order to change it or maybe instructions on how to ssh into it & change to the correct carrier settings for AT&T?

    Any help greatly appreciated

It may not have anything to so with the carrier file, IPCC, or APN settings. I have literally tried EVERYTHING and cannot get MMS to work on my 2G with AT&T.

It works but fails to send and I get a red exclamation mark. I've heard that since AT&T turned on actual mms that no one can get it to work, and I have yet to see/hear/read about someone that has it working on AT&T

If AT&T know you had a 2G iPhone, I doubt they would have turned MMS on for you as that is officially an unsupported combination.

Maybe they just turned it on for 3G and 3GS customers.
