Lightbulb Carrier Logo Name Change Withtout Replacing .png

Has anyone figured out yet how to change the carrier name without replacing the default ATT png ?

So far I have changed the font size with a hex editor in SpringBoard, but can't figure out how to change the name.

    Thanks :p

Maybe I didn't get my point across.

Alright, I am aware you can change the carrier name logo by replacing the Default_CARRIER_ATT.png and the FSO_CARRIER_ATT.png images.

I know this method but I don't want to use it.

Instead, I am looking for a dynamic way to change the logo name (like I did for the font size in the SpringBoard file).

    Please help.

    Thanks

    here is an idea.

now i have seen that it is possible to put your own icon on top of the springboard,
the nes app is doing this for example.
now if it is possible to get the current carriername a little app could be written that matches the name with our own pngs and displays this on top, and instead of showing the right carriername display a blank image (or whatever you like)

    should be possible, no?
