try allowing about 10gb or more free space on your hdd then trying again.
Hi. Ok, I'll give more space to this partition to see how it goes, I'l post results. Thanks!

Tried this, didn't worked . Thanks though!

Actually, I think I'm with nbj622 on this one... although I don't quite share his fervor!

I'd take it back to the Apple store and just say, 'Hey! Why is my iphone doing this' and let them fix it - or give you a new one.

After all, it's not your fault it's gone wrong.... !!!

(its not like they can confiscate it from you or put you in jail or spit on you or ban you from the store. and if they say no, accidently knock over a macbook on the way out. i like apple, but f*k the corporation.)

btw, i cant believe you reinstalled windows for this issue...
Lol. You are right man. I'm just a litle scared that they figure I use a hacking method on the iphones (I got 2 with same problem) and they won't issue me a new one. Hope that's not the case, but if the worst happens, I'll aim for the 24 inch macs
    Thanks!

yeah its not like apple can prove that u used to hack which messed up the iphone, so it should be ok. if they refuse try tlaking to the manager and demanding that i phone was defective and u are not satisfied etc etc.

Hi. That info looks really good, problem is that I understand half of it. What I understand is that it explains how restore kinda works and what propably appears to be my problem, altough I dont know what to do with the info. Is this sugesting that I can use another method to force the restore on my iphone? this would be nice to try, although can't figure how to do it with the info. If someone could help me a little bit on how to use this, it would be great.

    Thanks Graeme!

    Hi,

Can you please make a screenshot of the iTunes error ? I am not sure what is
causing your problem, but is possible that your PC is creating this problem, just
    a wild guess though.

I would think it was very suspicious that someone brought back two, opened and unactivated iPhones to me with problems. Will they turn the thing on to look at it before exchanging it for you? I wonder. Maybe they won't care. Either way it doesn't seem like you are any closer to a solution so why not just return/exchange the things and be done with them?

If you had multiple Apple stores you could take one to one and one to another.... Just a thought.

Those links you posted of other people's problems aren't the same as yours, so it's not even worth the time to read them.
