I can get my iPhone working on another sim but when I try to sync iTunes shows 300mb storage capacity for my iPhone. I know this probably has to do with Step 18 putfile Services.plist.

When i try and type that I get the following error:
iPhoneInterface(771,0xa000d000) malloc: *** Deallocation of a pointer not malloced: 0x90b2f38c; This could be a double free(), or free() called with the middle of an allocated block; Try setting environment variable MallocHelp to see tools to help debug

or sometimes I get this error:
Problem with AFCFileRefOpen: 12

Anytime I attempt to do this command the phone works however I am not able to sync to iTunes at all because it gives me an error. If I just skip this step the phone works and I can sync however I am limited to 300MB.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

you need to give the full path of where you are going to put the file.

for example: putfile /Library/myfile - even though you are in /Library.

Make sure your services.plist file is in the phonedmg file not on the desktop, then it will work!

Ok, so just to clarify:
jacksmyhro, I assume you meant move the services.plist file to the phonedmg "folder" not "file", correct?

phattie, so if I moved the Services.plist file to the phonedmg folder my command should be: putfile /Users/derickalba/phonedmg/Services.plist ???

Also, do you think I can just go back and that one thing instead of starting the whole process over?

Update, ok so I moved the Services.plist file to my phonedmg folder then went straight to iPhoneInterface and inserted command: putfile Services.plist and it worked!!! THANK YOU jacksmyhro!!!

same problem here but i dont know what to do, services.plist is allready in the phonedmg folder ( which is in my userfolder "Flo")

what do i have to type ?

It says "iPhone:/System/Library/Lockdown#" and i type "putfile Services.plist"

Then it says "Problem with AFCFileRefOpen: 12"
