    Default Can't find Wifi networks

Hi. I just bought a new Iphone yesterday and used iBrickr to jailbreak it. Everything works great except for wifi. It'll search for new networks for about a second and never find anything.

Would this be a problem with the phone you think or something else?

Did you try rebooting it? And are you sure that the Wifi point is not a closed one, I mean does it advertise the SSID?

Definitely tried rebooting ...several times. The wifi points are not closed and I've tried it at two different locations with two different networks. I've even tried to type in the name of the network manually and connect that way, but it says it couldn't find it. Think it could be something wrong with the phone?

Also, should I have removed the sim before jailbreaking?

I've had this same WIFI problem with mine too so I took it back to AT&T and exchanged it for another. They gave me a bit of grief at first but I told them I've called apple and have already gone through troubleshoot over the phone and that they told me to take it back to AT&T. Got a brand new one and no restocking fee.

Do you think the Mac store will have any problem with replacing it if I tell them the one I had wasn't working?
