    where are you? 1.1.1/102? jailbroken?

There is no way you can't edit the file unless you have not jailbroken it properly (no write access).

Try copying to your desktop, edit the .plist and copy it back.

    1.1.1 jailbroken

Can't understand why I'm not being able to edit files. I'll try to return to jail and then jailbreak - see if it makes any difference.

Still, the phone won't grant me the permission to change any files - and I can't change permissions manually in Cyberduck.

Please help. Do I need the BSD subsystem, perhaps?

Still nothing - I've tried several phones all jailbroken but none of them will give me the permission.

    Please help.

Make sure when you ssh into the phone using cyberduck your username is "root" and password "alpine" I tried using mobile/alpine combination and also had permission errors
