Can't copy songs to Iphone - Need Help I'll pay$$
after unlocking my iphone, I hooked it up to my computer at work to sync my contacts. Not thinking that it would lock me out from being able to transfer music off my home PC. When I try to bring a song from the library and drop it on my iphone in the device list, I just get the circle with the line through it and not letting me put it on my iphone.
I ran the swaptunes program, that didnt help at all. Someone please help.
I'll paypal 10 bucks to the first person that can tell me how to fix it without having to do a restore on my phone.

I can sync my whole library or a playlist, just cant figure out how to just grab a single song out of the library and drop it on my iphone on the device list.

The iPhone does not supoport drag and drop for a single (or many) songs.
You must sync playlists in itunes
Just create a play list called iPhone and drag the songs you want on your phone into that then tick that playlist to sync

For some reason it allowed me to drag and drop at first. Any reason why I WAS able to originally do this?

You can also select it to only sync "checked songs". Then you can pick single songs and chose to sync them

It's not possible to Manually Manage your music on the iPhone, unlike the iPod. Only syncing is supported.

i know you said that you know how to do this, but really, drag and drop cant be done. but for the sake of those who clicked on this thread for information:
1.open itunes (do not plug ur iphone yet)
2.under PLAYLIST (left of screen) make a folder, then put all you selected music there
3.plug your iphone, when u get the SYNC screen. (with iphone pic) click on the MUSIC tab (its at the top)
4.the click the check box of the folder/s that u like to have to have ur iphone
5. at the bottom click APPLY
for everyone who's having trouble, hope this works! enjoy ur iphone!

It never did.

Yes it did. I have only had an iphone not an ipod. Once I unbricked it from 1.1.1 it allowed me to take as many songs as I wanted and drag right to the iphone.
