i just got a new iphone and when i connect it to itunes it comes up with installing driver... but goes no further any ideas??

one time that happened to me just try to reconnect the iphone with iTunes opened, make sure you are on iTunes 7.6.1
(2G) iPhone 8 GB <---------QuickPwned!!!
Firmware: 2.1 (1.1.1 OTB)
Carrier: Mx Telcel GSM (Mexico)
