Hi. I have previously activated phones using dvd jon's method. I apply his hack on itunes 7.3.0.54 , I haven't updated to version 7.3.1 . The ting is that, when I plug the iphone, it starts the process but ends with this error:

"We could not complete your itunes store request. the requested resources was not found.
there was an error in th itunes store. please try again later."

What this means? Has apple taken action with activations with dvd jon's hack? I mean I've reinstaled itunes 7.3.0.54 an reapplied hack again just to make sure and same error again. Can anyone plase try activating a phone to see if this is just an isolated error or probably apple has taken some kind of action.

I activated my phone just after the patch came out. It worked without any issues.
Double check that you have the line added at the end of the hosts file.

Ok, it worked. I did it on a mac, using anderson's method and it worked like a champ. This is the second time I solved a pc problem by using a mac. Guess its time to buy one... not (downloading uphuck v1.3 right now )

ooh let me know how you go with uphuck 1.3 (yes, i own a mac, but i still love messing with the hacked releases)
