Default Cannot sync in iTunes - 6GB Other Data

This morning my iphone shows up in itunes as having some photos, 6.2GB of Other data, and 1GB of Free Space. No Mention of Music or Movies. On the iPhone itself, everything is there fine. But of course now I can't add or change music or movies as itunes can't figure out what's in there.

I can restore, re-hack, re IaSign, etc... and start from scratch, but hoping someone out there has another way?

    Thanks!

Log onto the phone using ssh then run 'df -k'. The second line shows the disk usage. 'du' will show you whats taking the most space.

Update - I guess itunes corrupted the DB on the phone, as the ipod app on the phone shows no music no videos, etc. damn!

I had this yesterday! I put it down to my phone still being 'jailbreaked' and as soon as I returned it to jail, iTunes was happy!

no, this one was incarcerated. I'm syncing to both a windows machine (for outlook address book and calendar) and a mac for media. I think the windows machine hosed it as itunes didn't really come up the first time I connected it this morning and when it did, it didn't detect the iphone the first time.

I restored, re hacked, and am now resyncing...
